Man's Thinking?

This entry is responding to the video of Changing Education Paradigms.

Nowadays, people would like to have a high paying job but without working hardly. Some of the student who just graduate from secondary school they would like to work and earn money. They might think about continuing study is not important to them. They will say that even study for a degree they wouldn't guarantee to have a job. So, they will think working and earn money is more useful to them.

Besides, I found that, some of the student are fascinated by computer games, television channel and a lot of entertainment. That is the reason why they will not putting much more afford on their studies. They will become like this is because of they really don't know what they wanted to be and some of those who actually understand what they need, they will go and achieve it. Actually, no matter ancient times or today's parents, they just want their children to become a useful man. Thus, the child will feel pressure virtually and they feel unhappy on their studies.

A lot of parents are working all the day. Therefore, they already neglect their children and they just send their children go for tuition without asking their opinion. I found that, today's children just like a robot, they study because of having an excellent result in their exam. They didn't think about the future and they just follow what their parents wanted them to be. Actually, I agreed with Sir Ken Robinson said “we are getting our children through education by anaesthetising them”. The school had put the student into different category depends on their exam's result. I think that's not fair for those slow-learner student because they would have a good result and they just need a long time to understand it.

Teacher is also important for a student but today's teacher don't really teach the student about the moral value or other knowledge beside of textbook. They just wanted to finish what they need to teach by using the textbook. When come to the question, some of the teacher will just give the student answer without discussing. Thus, the student will not have any opinion in their mind because they thought the answer will come guaranteed.

There will be a lot of answers for a question but in the exam, it is only can be ONE. For me, answer could be a lot and not just ONE and it is depends on you. And I also agreed that “we have to think differently about human capacity”. Sometimes, the student will not be good academic but they are good in technical so that we can't say that the people is not a smart people. They just having their strengthen in different category. So we can't say who is the smart people and who is not that's no way to justice them like that.
